1LT Thomas Fernandez

 1LT Thomas Fernandez  (Short for: Thomas Alexander Mario Jose Fernandez de la Reguera) served with Easy Company, 17th Infantry and then later as the 17th Infantry Liaison Officer to the Colombian Battalion.

The rare thing about this tape is that it was done in the colors that the Colombian Battalion members wore (Blue tape with a red buffalo and yellow lettering).

1LT Fernandez was awarded the Silver Star for actions during the battle of Triangle Hill in October of 1953.
